Dry Tea Leaf

On the river of love a dry tea leaf floats
Dreaming, singing and dancing to the wind

Its being fracturing by the water of joy
It loses itself to the river of ecstasy;

Nirvana; Fana; Samadhi; Enlightenment

Fable

Jokes my mind speaks
Madness my tongue articulates
Fable my heart creates

Free Me

Take me, free my soul
I’ve been caged, estranged

Help me, hold me, hear me
This portrait is cold

Mother of mothers
Father of fathers
I call upon you the angels

This body I cannot bear anymore
This agony I cannot see anymore

Free me; I want to float like the feathers
Fly high high; past the horizon
Into the kingdom of love; eternity

The Heart Speaks

Sometimes the heart speaks
Sometimes it just hums
Sometimes it is silent

Loves your attention this ocean
Needs your cuddles its waters

Give it time, just observe;
Bigger and bigger it grows
Stretches through eternity;
One end never reaches the other

Inside you’ll find the past
Anger, sadness, guilt
Tune into the present
Then you will find
Joy, happiness and love

Endless, powerful, bright
Get drunk of love; beauty
Lose yourself in the river
Let the current role your stones
Finer and smoother they become
On the way to the ocean

Love or Lust?

Choosing love or lust?
Like asking green or red?

Lust is the tail
Love is the heart

You have to start low
Slowly raise the sun

Into the horizon; eternity
Where the cross joins

Rhythm of The Ocean

Fresh lemon juice; that fragrance
The smell of rain on green grass

Reminds me of the years I lost
Of how the mountains became dust

Hill after hill, I built my palace
After all, I thought it was a race

Day after day I sit by the ocean
Rhyming myself with its motion

What do I seek? I can’t see the end
What do I need? Will I ever ascend?

My heart beats slowly; no emotion
What do I get out of this devotion?

So confused is little Nima today
Lets just take the guitar and play

You Are Home

When you are locked in your room
Dreaming of a hansom groom
White dress as your long costume
Rosemary part of your perfume

Love endlessly, know you are home

Fly Away

Fly, fly far away you estranged soul
Smell the grass, crawl on the stones

Taste the flowers, sleep by the sea
Listen to the waves; they are yours

Shine, Shine Into My Heart

I sit with my legs crossed to form a lotus
I take my rosary and repeat my mantra

Bead after bead, I say, I feel, I dream
Of the white light to fill my heart

I live a busy life, spend hours at work
Hours I eat and sleep. Hours I speak

They tease me, for preaching my heart
I close my eyes, bead after bead,
I say shine, shine into my heart

You Are Me But I’m Not You

My dear child, I take this pen to write for you
You’ve been with me since the beginning

I am sorry. I treated you unfairly. I was selfish
You don’t understand how these flames burn

You see, the pleasure of this life was so pleasant
I failed to care for you, protect you, cherish you

Now I can see that you are me but I’m not you

Confession

Let me be straight
I’m tired of pretending
Tired of covering up

It kills me slowly; gently from outside
This veil I hold around my aura

You need to have experienced
To feel my sorrow, my pain

These words I speak only
To you my laptop

I want to let loose
I need to be free

If you hate me then be it
I need to open the curtains

I’m a vegetarian; not for you
I live in meditation; not for you
I breath yoga; not for you

Walking truth hurts, I know
I’m a wandering pilgrim

I do it for me; for my heart
I like to share; for my heart
I love you; for my heart

Your soul is not mine
But it is the same;
Beautiful, brilliant, magnificent

We are joined in spirit
I can feel you
Then, lets be free. Together

Higher Self

Protects me, keeps me safe
Serenity rains from its pace

This voice calling my name
Love radiates from its grace

I don’t know what it says
Can’t realize its presence

Tree of Light

It is hard sometimes
Climbing the tree of light
With a short ladder

The Wandering Dervish

Mira the wandering dervish
The sound of water on water
The essence of sunrise
Mother of the streams

She stands up to the poisonous storm
Passing through time in search of truth

Wind blowing on her hair,
She turns her head to the sea
Waves after waves she dreams
Of the dolphins who take her home.

Leeda

Leeda my beloved, my waking dream
Walking under the rain; singing beautifully

The music of her words; like flowers
Falling on my evergreen field
So refreshing, so amazing; truthful

The sunshine of my home
The river of my heart
Flying gently with the butterflies

She whispers in my ear;
Until eternity
I shall be yours.

I AM THAT

I look within, I see him
I look without, I see him
But when I stop looking;
Motionless; thoughlessness;
Solitude; Silence; Awareness
I experience his essence

Whoever You Are Within, You Are a Star

It is a strange thing fame
Burns souls with its flames

It tastes better than money
You feel ok being a bunny

Posing naked for the camera
Lust is fashion in this era

Happiness is estranged
Minds are too engaged

Kindness is forgotten
People have become rotten

Judgment is a common theme
Are they not allowed to dream?

Respect how people choose
Don’t let your ego run loose

Whoever that you are
Within, you are a star

What is Time?

When the heart opens the light shines
Caravan starts moving towards the east

No dust, no camels, no need to stop for water
The streams endless, floating on mountains

Sky full of softness but heart beats very slowly
Don’t know what time it is. What is time? Tick tick?

Earth and stars, so perfectly aligned making day and night
Serenity may rise in rain but purity lives under the sun

Sun is the heart and serenity its tears
Time is the difference

Until the Dawn

Strange; the light was shining on the porch
Sophia; curious girl came out with a torch

Miracle; she saw an angel standing in dark
Sophia wondered why the dogs wouldn’t bark

Soft; the angel’s voice called upon Sophia
Pure music, saw images of a swan Sophia

Love; gently held her hands, so kind
Pure beauty touched her; strong bind

Power; coldness; heat; surged up her spine
Dizzy but her eyes had a spectacular shine

White; now Sophia was the swan
Dancing in the lake until the dawn

He Deserves your Love

Take care of him, look after him
Love him, cherish him, thank him

Without him, there is no walking
There is no talking, no seeing

Watch the florists; how they love;
Water sprays, branches and blossoms

You wash your car, vacuum the house
Wash the dirt and get rid of dust

This body I mean; carries your soul
Watch out for him, take good care

Never hate him, never blame
It was you who brought the shame

When you forgot, he worked hard
No complain; or, did you listen?

Now feel the pain, regret the past
Learn the lesson; don’t pay him last

The past is gone, what about now?
Feel, touch, accept and just love.
